Yes, that is the design of our constitutonal government, to protect those inalienable rights of the INDIVIDUAL. With out rights, freedoms and property of the individual there is no protection of the masses from tyranny.

Read the Federalist and anti-Federalist papers and communications of the founders and it is plain that the main mission of our constitutional republic is that no individual, group of individuals, corporation, agency, law, order or government itself can infringe on the inalienable rights, freedoms or property of any individual.

The above is enough to keep our government busy 24/7/365 without all the unconstitutional drivel that they have heaped on us for the last century.

And anyone who used to watch even a little bit of Glenn Beck when he had his TV show on Fox News heard plenty about the Federalist Papers already. He encouraged viewers to get a hold of a copy and to read it all.
