The real mental midget in this presidential race is vice presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden.
There he was two days ago in Athens, Ohio, saying:
“Look, John’s last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S.”
Imagine if Gov. Sarah Palin had said that. The Associated Press didn’t report this when it happened. It later mentioned it deep in a story about Biden’s TV appearance with Jay Leno, who asked Biden about the J-O-B-S letter count.
The AP knows if an event is mentioned late in a story, it probably won’t show up in the headline. It didn’t. For this story, the headline was “Biden: McCain ‘more angry.’”
Goofs and gaffes. But gaffes are the least of Biden’s problems. The man is a pompous goof. He knows some facts, here and there, but there’s no evidence he has the intellect or the political courage to act on those facts wisely. Give a goof information, he’ll give it back goofy.
Frank Warner
Give a goof information, he’ll give it back goofy.
And the press will ignore it if he's a Democrat, but scream it as proof, proof he's an idiot if he's a Republican.
