Random House just surrendered the First Amendment.
Author Sherry Jones wrote a book about Aisha, one of Muhammad’s wives. Random House accepted the book, “The Jewel of Medina,” but then after a few weaselly critics hinted its publication could result in violence, Random House dropped the project.
That kind of cowardice opens the door to totalitarians, who would shut the door and lock everyone in. Sorry Random House, your books won’t be coming to my house anymore.
