I doubt these pictures are giving away any big secret, but they make you wonder why they hold their hands like that. Is it a way to let the president or candidate know who is from the Secret Service?
Or do they have something up their sleeves? A radio? A Taser? A gun?
Close to the vest. I imagine that, by keeping their hands close, the Secret Service agents are less likely to be grabbed by an attacker, and the agents also are set to reach quickly for a pistol holstered at the shoulder.
