Kerry's medal interview made it into swift
boat vet commercial #4:

The September 6 issue of TNR has a very strongly worded editorial condemning the swiftboat "controversy" as a pure smear campaign and taking the media to task for letting it continue. The lone exception was, they felt, Chris Matthews! One page, well worth reading if you have access.

TNR claims that there is no truth to the charges. I feel that there is no importance to the charges. Who cares. I despise the Republican attack machine (and Michael Moore as well), and I intend to decide my vote based on the GWOT. I wish that the ticket were McCain/Lieberman, but if John Kerry shows any reliable indications of his desire to pursue the Islamist threat, he will get my vote.

Oh, and by the way, here is the link to Kerry's
own website where he states that any claims
that he threw away his medals (even if he
made them himself, apparently) are "rightwing fiction."
