How much does the deal cut spending? Not one penny? Not one penny.
We're just digging the hole deeper, so when the house-of-debt finally collapses, it will hit real hard. Instead of two or three years of pain leading to a healthy recovery, our leaders have chosen a course that could cripple our economy for more than a decade.
This is what happens when the ruling class would rather have an agreement than a solution.

In the spirit of true leadership, this administration could actually cut spending without even having to ask anyone's permission to do so. Mo Congressional approval necessary to come up under budget. But, Obama loves spending our money. He's addicted.
