Congressman Pete Hoekstra asks a good question. Why bring Khalid Sheikh Muhammad to the United States for a civilian trial when he already has begged to plead guilty to planning the 9-11 attacks in a military tribunal? Why give him all the publicity and subject New Yorkers to such a security risk?
The KSM trial appears to be the first step to bringing all 200 of the enemy prisoners in Guantanamo to the United States. Why bother?
