It was a good game, but the Phillies lost this one 3-1 to the Yankees. The World Series is tied up at one game apiece. The Series moves to Philadelphia tomorrow.
For you Australians: The baseball team that wins four games first wins the World Series and the World Championship.

Just wait until tomorrow. Giants crush the Eagles and the Yankees take a 3-1 lead. Wouldn’t that be the worst day in Philadelphia sports history? It’s going to happen whether you like it or not?

I've heard it said that the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is over-rated, but the same can't be said for the Philadelphia baseball team.

It doesn't look like the Eagles are going to be crushed too badly at this point. I know that they can find a way, but I'm feeling very positive about this game.
The Phillies are wonderful, win or lose. When the Yankees win it's just another Steinbrenner purchase. If the Phillies win, it's a blow for baseball truth, justice and the American game.
