My Philadelphia Phillies, Champions of the World, will be returning to post-season play this year. It's the way things should be.
The Phillies have been worthy World Champions, almost always in first place this season. Though they've had some pitching problems (Hamels and Lidge aren't close to perfect anymore), they've really had only one awful game (a 10-9 loss Sept. 12 to the Mets) all year, so they're in great shape to begin the playoffs.
