I guess we can call this "When Worlds Don't Collide."
ABC News' Charles Gibson, who claims to know what the indefinable "Bush Doctrine" is, today told a Chicago radio audience he hasn't heard anything about the controversy over ACORN offering to help set up whorehouses for underage girls.
If you're a Republican, you don't want to hear about governors hiking the Appalachian Trail. If you're a Democrat, you don't want to hear about ACORN. But if you're a good journalist, you should want to hear about everything.
Five days into the biggest investigative story on political corruption in decades, and Gibson has no clue about it.
Frank Warner
Clearly, Gibson picked a good time to retire.
Yet another victim of "old-timers" disease.

The MSM gets scooped all the time by internet reporters. They haven't figured out what their new role is going to be. I hardly ever see an article on paper that I haven't already been reading about for 24 hours.
