Jeffrey Goldberg endorses Hamas
Jeffrey Goldberg claims today that when Sarah Palin said of Palestine, "We have to protect those who do seek democracy and support those who seek protections for the people who live there," Palin meant that the United States should support Hamas.
Of course, Palin gave no such endorsement to Hamas, which might have won one election, but which seeks neither democracy nor protection for the Palestinians. Goldberg simply made stuff up.
Couric asked, "What happens if the goal of democracy doesn't produce the desired outcome? In Gaza, the U.S. pushed hard for elections and Hamas won."... There are many possible answers to this question, some of which are right and some of which are wrong.
Goldberg tactic. It was right to answer that the U.S. supports the true democrats and those who truly hope eventually to protect a new and democratic Palestine.
But to say Palin endorsed Hamas is false. That kind of deception is something Hamas would do, so using Goldberg's own logic, it's obvious that Goldberg endorses Hamas.

Hamas says they support Barack Hussein Obama and the Obama camp was flattered by the Hamas adviser's remarks.
