Barack Obama’s fascist friendly endorsers make me nervous
I still like Barack Obama, but I don’t like some of his endorsers. Of course, there is Michael Moore, fascist propagandist. But then there is Tom Hanks, nice guy.
And now there is Boston Globe columnist James Carroll, who a year and half ago was calling for total U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and worse. He was insisting on the defeat of democracy in Iraq. Like Northern Democrats during the American Civil War, Carroll hates a Republican president so much he’d rather give up on the idea of freedom than see its success.
Carroll says he’s for Obama because Obama will negotiate away every threat and because Obama will surrender America’s nuclear weapons before the world’s dictatorships surrender theirs.
Major problem. What would Carroll’s dream get us? Chains.
Obama had better keep away from Carroll, Moore and the other friends of fascism.
Listen to Tom Hanks.
Frank Warner

Just how out of touch is this Obama character.
Barry ought to get with it. He doesn’t even know that he received the endorsement of Hamas, and denying it now ain’t gonna make it go away.
Come to think about it, maybe we finally found something other than the Obama/Wright connection with which to compare McCain/Hagee .. now it’s Obama/Hamas.
Let’s see he didn’t sit in the pews with Hamas for the last two decades, so the fit is much better.
Now my choice is much clearer .. is it MaCain who has the endorsement of some (unarmed) crazy preacher .. or Obama who has the endorsement of Hamas, a group on the State Department’s list of terror organizations ?
Gee .. that’s a real tough call there.

57 states and one more to go .. one more to go plus Alaska and Hawaii
50 states + 10 annexed Canadian provinces = 60 states
That explains it all .. no NAFTA problem with Canada after you annex all 10 provinces.

Despite denials from the Obama campaign which appear to be blatant lies, the NY Times Admits Obama's Muslim Birth.

What about Obama do you folks like? What policies, what ideas, what specific things that he wants to do as president do you support? What I'm trying to get to here is this: other than the cult of personality, what about Senator Obama attracts you to him as a presidential candidate?
Frank keeps pointing out reasons he doesn't like him, he's made it clear that he's a liberal in the classic sense, and equally clear that Senator Obama isn't. Yet he likes him? What about him, other than the D by his name and personal charisma is the attraction?

I'll answer this more clearly later, but one of my litmus tests has been Social Security. Obama is approaching it with responsibility. He would raise some taxes to make up Social Security's impending shortfalls.
In the Philadelphia debate, Obama was pestered over calling for more tax money for Social Security, and finally he said, "You don't get something from nothing."
You don't hear that kind of responsible common sense from many presidential candidates anymore.
Both Clinton and McCain say they won't raise taxes for Social Security, but then they don't say what the will do to save it. Start another commission and re-study the problem, they say.
We've done the commissions. We know what the problem is. And Obama is the only one who has the courage to say he'd do something a little unpopular for the greater good.
