Still, 55% say Congress should wait to develop a new policy on Iraq until Gen. David Petraeus, commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, delivers a promised assessment in September; 40% say Congress should act now.

I just now saw a clip from today where Harry Reid is saying there is no peogress in Iraq as the surge has now been going on for six months.

I am afraid I'm going to have to ask my Senator to introduce impeachment proceedings into that Senate against Harry Reid for being a criminal liar and not honestly representing my government.

Carl

To underline what Harry "the cadaver" Reid said today, Carl Levin just said that the surge is now complete, as he was trying to point out how futile the efforts of Bush's Iraq policy are.

Based on how Democrats evaluate time and events, I guess I can safely say that the Congress, that has been lead by the majority Democrats elected in last November's election, has done nothing for two years now (2006 and 2007).

Carl

And in this age of political correctness, which end of the congressional turd is the clean one?

That's quite an image.
